We have taken our extensive knowledge of modern bike design and crafted a visually stunning, functional and lightweight touring bike that is perfect for single day rides and yearlong expeditions in the saddle.
The Stelvio has been designed for rides across France, bike packing through Europe and touring the Great British coast to coast route, but it’s undeniable versatility make it a very capable commuter and audax bike, especially if you only have room for one bike.
The frame is constructed from high quality, double butted steel. As a material steel absorbs the noise from the road giving a more comfortable ride. The chromyl steel alloy is also lightweight making those fully loaded hills easier.
The frames geometry is relaxed and compliant. A steep seat tube places the rider over the pedals and a longer rear triangle and front end give the frame exceptional handling and stability with heavy loads. All of these considerations make the Stelvio a comfortable bike for all day riding

Being part of the Modern Classic range the bike needed a groupset that was not only good looking but also offered supreme mechanics, the very best in materials technology and great value for money.
The Shimano Ultegra 6800 groupset ticks all the boxes, it is a good-looking set of components that deliver supreme and accurate shifting. The derailleurs for the system are controlled by the Ultegra 6800 STI break leavers allowing easy shifting across the 22 possible gear combinations.
For the gearing, we have chosen a compact pro crank and cassette combination, blending an 11/28 rear cassette with a 52/36 crankset, this combination makes easy work of almost any climb but has enough top end to stop you spinning out on quicker descents.
To ensure safety we wanted to adopt a disc braking system. This approach gives you essential stopping power for every aspect of riding your bike, including emergency stops at busy inner-city junctions and those fast, flowing mountainous descents.
The Fulcrum racing sport disc wheelset is a sturdy 700c disc compatible wheelset. The asymmetric rims are paired with adjustable cartridge bearings; this combination is laced together with a high end spoke for a lightweight wheel that offers a constant and durable ride. The Fulcrum Racing Sport disc wheels will do you proud mile after mile, season after season.
